ZTT Group, based in Rudong county, Nantong, Jiangsu province, won the only gold in the cable sector at the 26th China Patent Awards for its invention patent on flexible direct current (DC) submarine cables.

Besides, the company's four patents also won awards, cover specialty optical fiber, high-strength conductors, all-dielectric cables, and radio frequency (RF) systems. The all-dielectric self-supporting optical cable — developed, iterated, and mass-produced entirely in Rudong's Hekou town — is a national manufacturing champion product recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology, the group's innovation leader, hosts a provincial high-value patent cultivation center for optoelectronic materials and devices. It pursues patent development across products, processes, equipment, materials, and testing, securing full-chain protection from research and development to verification, and reinforcing core industry barriers.
