A signing ceremony was held for a new energy safety protection product manufacturing base in Rugao High-Tech Zone on May 13.

The project is centered on researching, developing, and producing inert gas protection systems for lithium batteries, as well as aspirating smoke detection systems. With a total investment of 300 million yuan ($44.15 million), including 120 million yuan allocated to equipment, the project is expected to achieve annual taxable sales of at least 240 million yuan once fully operational.

The investor, Jiangsu Zhiansing Energy Technology, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in new energy safety solutions. The company focuses on safety prevention and control technologies related to energy storage stations, new energy vehicles, and power batteries, providing integrated safety research, solutions, and implementation services.

The project is expected to further strengthen Rugao's industrial chain in the new energy sector and enhance its capacity for cutting-edge safety technology applications, contributing to the region's high-quality industrial development.
