A total of 53 companies from Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province, participated in the 139th session of the China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, held in Guangdong province from April 15 to May 5.

These companies enjoyed soaring popularity by presenting their high-quality products and in total secured over $10 million in intention orders.

Jiangsu Fanpin New Material has been involved in the painting wood veneer industry for many years, specializing in providing supporting panels for whole house customization factories and furniture manufacturing factories.

"Two to three hundred customers come to inquire every day, asking very detailed questions about our products' environmental performance, process details, and supply cycle," said Ruan Chengguo, the general manager.

"The Canton Fair not only brings us orders and customer resources, but also shows us the huge potential of overseas markets," he added.

Another company, Nantong Ningpu Electrical Appliance, specializes in the design, research and development, manufacturing, and sales of mobile air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and other household appliances.

The company selected 15 products for the fair this time, covering popular categories such as mobile air conditioners and dehumidifiers.

“Many of our long-term cooperative customers came specifically to gain an in-depth understanding of new product parameters, production capacity delivery and other details. Several of our old European customers agreed to visit our production plant for an on-site inspection before October," said Chen Yi, the sales manager.

Looking ahead, Rudong will continue to leverage high-quality foreign trade platforms to promote more local products to go abroad.
