Construction of the high-end non-destructive testing material production and research and development project operated by Hongda NDT-Material (Jiangsu), located in Yangkou town, Rudong, Jiangsu province, is expected to be completed next year.

At present, 80 percent of the construction work has been completed. With an investment of 500 million yuan ($73.11 million), the project can produce 7,200 metric tons of high-end non-destructive testing materials and generate annual sales of 500 million yuan upon reaching full production capacity.

Non-destructive testing is the method of inspecting and testing specimens without damaging or affecting the performance of the tested object or its internal organization. It is a key link in high-end manufacturing, ensuring product quality and operational safety.

Wujiang Hyperd NDT-Material, the parent company of the project, has over 20 years of industry experience in non-destructive testing materials, with mature formulation processes and quality control systems.

The project will apply nanotechnology in an innovative way to enhance product detection sensitivity and environmental performance. Through refined screening of raw materials and process upgrades, the product detection error rate will be controlled within 1 percent, meeting the precision detection needs of high-end manufacturing.
