Yuantuojiao Resort sees stable development

Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, saw stable development in 2022 despite severe COVID-19 outbreaks.

In 2022, Yuantuojiao Resort received a total nearly 3 million tourists in total, and the number of visitors to the resort's two classic scenic spots, Golden Beach and Bihai Yinsha, exceeded 1 million.

Construction on the resort is continuing to move forward.

The main structure of the resort's Marriott Hotel, which received a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($147.63 million), was completed this year, and interior and exterior decoration has started. The hotel is scheduled to be put into operation in the first half of this year.

The resort's Xinhu Business Center, with a total investment of 290 million yuan, is also nearly complete. Supermarkets, fitness centers and canteens have been installed at the site.

There are currently two high-star hotels officially operating in the resort, with a total of nearly 1,200 rooms, meeting the basic requirements of national tourism resorts.

The resort's home-stay business has also developed rapidly, and it now has more than 30 homestays.

In addition, the holding of cultural and tourism activities such as a tulip expo, national beach volleyball tour, and beach music festival has enhanced the popularity and influence of the resort.

Digging clams on the beach, watching the sunrise, eating seafood and enjoying hot springs are currently popular among tourists.
