Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province, took active actions to advance project attraction and construction in March.

In the first quarter, Rudong began construction on 26 projects, each worth over 100 million ($14.52 million yuan), including 11 projects valued at over 500 million yuan each.

In the Lingang Industrial Area of the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone, the construction of the main factory steel structure for the Jiaheng Textile Fiber and Fabric Project is accelerating.

This major industrial project began construction in the first quarter of Rudong, with an initial investment of 500 million yuan. Once production is fully operational, the project is expected to achieve annual sales of 1 billion yuan.

At the beginning of this year, Rudong introduced a guideline for investment promotion, which outlined specific target tasks for each town, district and sub-district. This effort aims to optimize investment promotion strategies and improve investment quality and efficiency.

As a result of these efforts, Rudong captured over 80 pieces of high-quality project information, organized more than 10 special matchmaking activities and is currently discussing 35 projects in the first quarter.

In recent years, Rudong has taken proactive services for projects to help enterprises throughout the entire project implementation process, including handling administrative approvals and supporting related services.
