Nantong's NETDA spearheading innovation and development

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA, has taken a series of actions to meet its development goals at the beginning of this year, local media reported.

As one of the 14 national economic and technological development areas, Nantong's NETDA has made efforts to bring in projects in new fields. Focusing on its main industries and future industries of hydrogen energy and aerospace, it signed cooperation agreements with eight universities and institutions and secured 27 projects on Jan 28.

To create a first-class business environment, NETDA established an inspection workstation on March 6 to offer local enterprises comprehensive legal services. It will also roll out more innovative and pioneering measures this year to serve local businesses.

Furthermore, Wu Xinming, Party secretary of Nantong, explained that NETDA emphasizes industries and innovation and has actively explored the deep integration between scientific and industrial innovation.

At the intelligent factory of Galaxyspace in the development area, intelligent material distribution vehicles are shuttling back and forth as multiple communications satellites are being assembled simultaneously.

Nantong authorities have high hopes for NETDA, positioning it as the new dynamic center of the city and expecting coordinated development between Nantong Central Innovation District and NETDA.
