Representatives of the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Center of Biomedicine Development on Oct 10.
According to the agreement, the two sides will work together to promote the cross-regional flow of innovative elements in the biomedical field and forge a high-quality integrated biomedical innovation system and new development engine in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The area has built a specialized Nengda Biopharmaceutical Science and Technology Innovation Park that will focus on innovation research and development, incubation acceleration, full-chain collaboration, and achievement transformation to create a life health industry innovation platform.
The two sides will use the park to carry out business cooperation in industry segmentation positioning and track selection, as well as consulting on the professional construction of public technology service platforms.
They will also gradually carry out substantial complementary businesses, exchange scientific and technological innovation resources, and collaborate innovatively on public technology service platforms.
In addition, the two sides are making plans to advance regional coordinated development and establish a branch of the Shanghai Center of Biomedicine Development.
