NETDA invites innovative resources in Shanghai

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, held a roadshow in Shanghai on Sept 15 to attract high-level professionals.

Thirty-two projects involving high-end equipment and life health were demonstrated at the roadshow where 20 judges from leading investment institutions gave advice on technology and market expansion.

During the roadshow, Hu Jianhua, executive director of the Zhangjiang Institute of Fudan University, Pan Hong, president of the AngelChina Water Drop Stones Fund, and Chen Ming, president of Open Group, shared their ideas about scientific innovation atmosphere and entrepreneurship trends in China.

Jiang Yumin, head of the organization department of NETDA's CPC committee, said the roadshow is expected to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between NETDA and Shanghai and attract more of the city's innovative resources to NETDA.

He also welcomed outstanding talents to start businesses in the area.

Cao Yonghong, head of NETDA's human resources and technology bureau, introduced the investment environment in NETDA, saying that the area has since this year regarded technological innovation as a driver of high-quality development and rolled out policies favorable to high-caliber talent to make NETDA an ideal place for them to live and work.

This year, more than 150 projects have been showcased in NETDA's roadshows.
