NETDA holds road show in Beijing to attract talents
The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu held a road show on Aug 4 in Beijing to attract more high-caliber talents to the area.
The road show was aimed at establishing platforms to advance exchanges between government departments, enterprises and universities.
NETDA-based Zhongtian Technology Group has been engaging with more than 20 top talents from universities including the Beijing Information Science and Technology University and the Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
A graduate of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology said that the road show provided him the chance to gain a better understanding of the enterprise's recruitment requirements and the preferential policies rolled out by the NETDA government.
Thirty-four projects related to the area's four pillar industries - new-generation information technology, high-end equipment, medical care and new energy - were displayed during the road show.
A representative of a hi-tech company based in Beijing said that the road show highlighted the sound business environment in Nantong and had convinced him of the benefits of expanding the company's business in the city in the near future.
Cao Yonghong, head of the area's human resources bureau, noted that NETDA has in recent years been stepping up efforts to create a more conducive environment to promote technology innovation and entrepreneurship.
