NHIZ hosts 2026 annual work conference
Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) held its 2026 annual work conference to review the achievements of 2025 and outline the tasks for the year ahead on Feb 4.
In 2025, the zone experienced robust high-quality development with a 50 percent rise in signed projects compared to the previous year. The number of recognized sci-tech innovation projects ranked it among the top provincial-level zones.
The meeting emphasized the 2026 goal of establishing the zone as a major new productive force growth hub in the northern area of the Yangtze River Delta region. Efforts will be made to focus on attracting more investment, pursuing sci-tech innovation, and fostering industry-city integration.
The conference also announced the list of key contributors to economic development and technological innovation for 2025.
