Nantong company supplies solar storage systems to Myanmar
The leading solar battery company Alpha ESS based in Nantong, Jiangsu province was recently selected as a partner in a Myanmar government-sponsored power supply project.
Founded in 2012 in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Alpha ESS has grown into one of the world's leading energy storage solution and service providers. It was the first company in China to offer complete energy storage system solutions to homeowners, and not just to commercial and industrial users.

Alpha ESS products have already been sold to over 50 countries worldwide, helping the company establish a strong international reputation.
The company has proved to be a reliable supplier for a Myanmar project that aims to improve electricity infrastructure. Before, only 30 to 40 percent of Myanmar's population had access to electricity. Since 2016, the World Bank has begun to provide low-interest loans to the Myanmar government for infrastructure construction, including of power facilities.

Alpha ESS supplied 11 10-foot PV-Diesel-Bess integrated systems for the first phase. The systems use clean energy and have fundamentally solved the problem of scarce or unstable electricity supplies.
Alpha ESS Co Ltd was founded by Yuan Hongliang, who has a master's degree from Erlangen-Nuremberg University. It has more than 260 employees, 60 percent of whom are engaged in research and development.
Last week, Alpha ESS was included on the list of Nantong's first batch of science and technology enterprises with the potential to become National High and New-Tech Enterprises.
In 2019, the company's annual sales reached 250 million yuan ($38.3 million) and it achieved a total of approximately $35 million in foreign exchange earnings from the export of new products, becoming one of the top 100 export enterprises in Nantong and one of the top 100 in Tongzhou district.
