Nantong High-tech Development Zone receives provincial award for innovation and entrepreneurship
The launch of the Jiangsu section of the 2020 National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week Jiangsu was held in Nanjing, the capital of East China's Jiangsu province, on Oct 15, to showcase achievements created by innovation and entrepreneurship.
The assessment results on the construction of 100 demonstration bases for innovation and entrepreneurship in Jiangsu province were released at the ceremony. Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone received an award as an excellent provincial demonstration base for innovation and entrepreneurship.
In recent years, the zone has striven to implement an innovation-driven development strategy, continuously optimized its environment for innovative and startup companies, and provided comprehensive services.
In the first half of 2020, the zone was praised by the Jiangsu government for achieving remarkable results in the following aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship: promoting the implementation of policies and the development of supportive platforms, as well as upgrading the development environment.
In the future, the zone will focus on cultivating new development drivers, carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship work through repairing, extending and strengthening industrial chains, building itself into a gathering place for high-level talents, technologies and industries, and continuing to contribute to Nantong's economic growth.
