Rugao development zone, Rugao court support rural rejuvenation
Rugao People's Court and Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province held an activity to better serve the zone's rural rejuvenation efforts at Pingyuanchi village on June 1.
Tang Mingqu, chief justice of the court, said at the event that his department will ramp up efforts to improve services, protect the rights of villagers, and satisfy their needs for legal aid.
The two sides have made fruitful achievements in helping with the overall development of local agriculture and rural areas, as a series of lectures about the latest policies have been given to keep villagers informed since last June, said Liu Weijian, Party official of Pingyuanchi village.
A staff member of the court gave a detailed presentation about the Rural Revitalization Promotion Law, which was passed in April and took effect on June 1. The law is aimed at speeding up the development of rural areas while maintaining environmental protection measures.
