Sieyuan Hertz expands market share through innovation

Jiangsu Sieyuan Hertz Instrument Transformer Co in Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone has expanded its presence in domestic and foreign markets due to continued efforts focusing on technological innovation.
The company boasts 149 patents and is the first in China to enter the market of 1000kV GIS voltage transformers. It was also included on a list of enterprises leading in innovation and market share, which is published by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Sieyuan Hertz now has 23 percent of the domestic market, ranking first among all companies in the same sector. It has been involved in a number of major programs in China, including the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, the Wudongde Hydropower Station, which is China’s fourth largest and the world’s seventh largest hydropower station, as well as the Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline.
Sieyuan Hertz has also received orders from many foreign markets like Chile, Brazil, and Argentina, said Xue Fuming, the company’s deputy chief engineer.
According to Xue, the company has recently delivered an order from National Grid, which is headquartered in London, and its 11 products have received recognition from Mexico’s state-owned power utility Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).
