Jiangsu Datang International Rugao Thermal Power Generation Co, which is located in Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Nantong, recently resolved an issue regarding the disposal of solid waste with the help of local authorities at a meeting.

The meeting, which was held by the ecology and environment bureau of Nantong on Feb 25, was the latest in a regular series of events to help companies address their problems related to environment protection.

The bureau, along with other authorities like the administration committee of the Rugao development zone, worked out a solution in a timely manner and helped streamline the approval procedures, said Teng Lihui, deputy general manager of Datang, while extending his thanks to the authorities.

More activities of this kind will be organized to help companies deal with their environmental problems so that they can achieve high-quality development, according to local media outlets.
