Pupils at the Third Experimental Primary School in the Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone, located in Rugao, a county-level city administrated by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province, have quite fallen in love with a Peking Opera, after having begun lessons .

Under the guidance of professionals, the students are learning basic skills in singing, gestures and the stances employed in opera performances, experiencing the charms of traditional Chinese culture.

In addition, the school is now also staging a Peking Opera art festival on regular basis.
