Jiangsu Sieyuan Hertz Instrument Transformer Co Ltd was founded in 2004 by Sieyuan Electric Co Ltd and Hong Kong Hertz Investment Co Ltd, with an investment of 100 million yuan ($14.72 million).

The company has been recognized as a Key High-tech Enterprise of the National Torch Plan, a Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center and as a Jiangsu Industrial Design Center, among other titles.

The company operates first-class research and development production and testing equipment.

These include three full shielding high-voltage test halls, a 3,000 kilovolts impulse voltage generator and an automation measurement system – as well as various types of professional processing, digital display high-precision equipment.

The company has established long-term technical cooperation with Nantong University, the China Electric Power Research Institute, Southeast University and other universities and scientific research institutes.

Through its enterprise-university-research institute cooperation, the company's research and development levels have been greatly improved.

In 2019, the company reported revenue of 533.45 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 16.34 percent.
