Fengsheng Auto (Jiangsu) Co Ltd is located at No 177 Huashi Road, in the Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone. The zone is located in the county level city of Rugao, administered by the prefecture level city of Nantong, in East China's coastal province of Jiangsu. With a registered capital of 1.2 billion yuan ($174 million), the company site covers an area of 204,642 square meters. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fengsheng Automobile Technology Group Co Ltd.

On Jan 8, 2019, the company's project to produce 50,000 pure electric passenger vehicles annually was approved by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission, under the auspices of the National Development and Reform Commission, becoming the 16th enterprise in China to obtain such a project approval in the area of endeavor.

On Aug 2, 2019, the company passed the acceptance inspection of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and entered the 322nd batch of vehicle production enterprises catalog.

In addition, Fengsheng became the first pure electric passenger vehicle manufacturer with qualifications from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in Nantong.

On Jan 13, 2020, the Maple 30X, a new model from Fengsheng Jiangsu, was place on the recommended list for new energy vehicles issued by  the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

On the same day, the first Maple 30X was successfully rolled off the production line in Rugao, and a grand ceremony was held.

Several months later, on April 10, the pre-sale marketing event for the Maple 30X was held in Hangzhou – capital of Zhejiang province.
