Currently, there are 36.71 square kilometers of land vacant and available for new energy vehicle industry projects in Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone.

2. Low-cost supply of water, electricity, gas and heat

The development zone provides special prices for industrial water, electricity, gas and heat.

3. Highly qualified and highly efficient labor force supply

Rugao is well known for its education system. It has 27 vocational and technological schools, with more than 20,000 students on campus. These schools can provide thousands of highly qualified and skilled workers to local enterprises each year. The average salary of ordinary workers in Rugao is relatively low in the Yangtze River Delta region, which makes the city more competitive.

4. Considerate administrative services

Rugao spares no efforts in building a new business environment. The city took the lead in Jiangsu province in setting up an administrative examination and approval bureau, which provides one-stop and streamlined services for administrative processes.

5. Innovative financial services

The development zone has set up four supportive funds for the new energy vehicle industry. It has two lease finance enterprises, one commercial factoring enterprise, and one supply chain finance enterprise, providing financial services and ensuring the funding needs of enterprises.
