The Gangzha Economic Development Zone in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has seen an increasing number of projects boosting the industrial development of the zone.

The projects mainly focus on the intelligent equipment and new material industries.

One of the projects is Hai Run Technology Co Ltd, which covers an area of 22.5 mu (1.5 hectares) and is currently under construction.

The taxable turnover of the project is expected to reach 400 million yuan ($57.55 million) after reaching its targeted output, said Xu Jianan, general manager of the company.

To improve the efficiency of project construction, zone authorities have simplified the approval process.

Among the enterprises that benefited from the simplified approval process is Jiangsu Zhehua Precision Manufacturing Co Ltd, which took only 28 hours to complete the approval process.

To date, Chongchuan district has introduced 42 key projects costing over 500 million yuan and seven projects invested in by foreign companies.
