Chongchuan police stations open comprehensive service windows
To date, 16 local police stations Chongchuan district of Nantong city, located East China's Jiangsu province, have opened comprehensive service windows, making it convenient for locals to handle their affairs.
Dozens of high-frequency services, such as household registration transfers, traffic violations processing, replacements of drivers licenses, and first-time passport applications, can be processed in one go at nearby police stations or processed through online platforms.
An online service platform has also been launched in the city, which has launched 15 certificate-free service items, reducing approval materials and processing time for locals.
"For instance, in the matter of household registration transfers, if we can find information such as parent-child relationship and birth certificate on the online system, we don't need locals to provide relevant material on-site," said Wu Xuan, a police officer in Wenfeng police station in Chongchuan.
In addition, a special service window has been set up at the 16 police stations to help handle the matters that fail to be completed.
