At the 2024 China Nantong Cross-border E-commerce Selection Exhibition, a range of small goods displayed by cross-border export enterprises in Nantong's Chongchuan district captured the attention of many attendees.

One of the exhibitors, Cheng Tianlong, primarily sells temporary tattoos to overseas markets. Initially sourcing products from places like Yiwu in Zhejiang and Dongguan in Guangdong, Cheng eventually realized that domestic styles were unsuited to foreign markets and frequently led to copyright disputes. By the end of 2021, he and his team developed original temporary tattoo designs, with over 1,000 styles now available for sale.

With his original designs, Cheng has found success in the cross-border e-commerce sector. Currently, his products are sold on over ten Amazon stores.

Nantong Shield Bags Manufacturing Co Ltd also secured two booths at the expo to showcase its bag products.

Established in 1998, Shield Bags is a local enterprise in Chongchuan. In 2019, the company began focusing on e-commerce platforms, transitioning from in-person exhibitions to online stores. From its early days on Amazon to recently platforms like Pinduoduo's overseas TEMU, Shield Bags has continuously expanded its business scope.

Chunmei Zhu, the head of cross-border e-commerce sales at the company, stated that online sales have been steadily increasing in recent years, with this year's total orders nearing 20 million yuan ($2.83 million) in value.

To meet growing market demands, Shield Bags has not only expanded production lines at its Chongchuan base but also invested in establishing a factory in Anhui. "Our goal is to continuously improve quality, become more refined and stronger, and truly establish our brand overseas," expressed Zhu.
