Foreign youth in Chongchuan celebrates upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival
A cultural exchange event with the theme "Taste of Chongchuan" was held in the Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Sept 12.
A group consisting of over 20 young foreigners and returning international students from eight countries, including Russia, Morocco, and Indonesia, partook in a range of cultural activities. These activities included wearing hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing), engaging in the melodic tones of the guqin (an ancient Chinese instrument), reciting poetry, and crafting traditional lanterns.
During the event, Chinese and foreign youth had the opportunity to learn about the customs of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
In recent years, Chongchuan has actively promoted the "Taste of Chongchuan" cultural exchange brand, bridging mutual learning and exchanges between different civilizations worldwide.
This initiative aims to enhance the influence and dissemination of Chinese civilization while providing a platform for interaction and cultural exchange between Chinese and foreign friends. As a result, it has attracted an increasing number of foreign visitors who want to learn about Chongchuan and Nantong.
