CCEDZ makes progress in high-quality development
Authorities in the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province have rolled out a series of measures to bolster its high-quality development.
Measures include attracting more investments, establishing a modern industrial system, and optimizing its business environment.
In terms of investment, the zone plans to establish six carriers that are expected to generate an output value of 10 billion yuan ($1.45 billion) this year. The carriers include the Zhongguancun Information valley, the Digital Transportation Industrial Park and the Medical Device Industrial Park.
Authorities have also made a negative list, a service list and a responsibility list to expedite the construction of its nine major projects in 2023.
In addition, authorities are striving to optimize its industrial structures and have channeled more resources towards developing its pillar industries – biomedicine, software and information services, and automobile electronics.
Authorities will also sustain efforts to improve the business environment through means such as streamlining approval procedures.
