The project of Jingyuan Ruigu science and technology city was launched in the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone in the prefecture city of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province on March 31, after receiving five required critical certificates.
"The project could be immediately started as soon as we got the five certificates, which greatly accelerated the schedule for the project to go into operation," said Yin Wei, the project leader, excitedly.
It only took 36 hours after the land transaction for the project to get the five certificates. Nantong once again broke its own record for speed of project approval.
With an overall floorage of about 200,000 square meters, the Jingyuan Ruigu project is Nantong's first urban industrial complex with the theme of environmental protection. Currently, over 10 leading enterprises in the fields of energy and environmental protection, such as Sinochem International, have expressed intention to establish branches in the complex.
"Focusing on R&D and intelligent manufacturing of forward-looking technologies in the three directions of new energy and environmental protection materials, high-end equipment and intelligent environmental protection, the science and technology city will strive to become an urban industrial complex radiating throughout the Yangtze River Delta and indeed all of China," Yin added.
As the downtown area of Nantong, Chongchuan district has continuously promoted reform of delegating power, strengthening regulation and improving services, creating a one-stop mode for the approval of project construction.
Relying on the city-district joint approval mechanism, the district has created a fast channel for the whole project approval process, speeding up project establishment, construction and operation by halving the time needed for approval.
Agent services – which extricate the enterprises from all the trouble of going back and forth for administrative service procedures – have become a regular service mechanism in the district.
