During the trial from June 9 to 14, 45 stalls offered snacks, crafts, and trendy goods. Over 75 percent of the retail space has been leased to chain retailers, culminating in a peak daily visitor influx exceeding 10,000 individuals.
Developed by Jiangsu Haihong Group and managed by Gemdale Properties & Investment, the 60,000-square-meter block integrates local Zhuangyuan (top scholar) culture with Nantong culture, featuring an enclosed mall and an open-air pedestrian zone with walkways, a central square, and art installations.
During the trial operation period, a variety of cultural and entertainment activities were also introduced. At the event, intelligent robot performances, lion dances, trendy rap, and local artistic shows took turns on stage. Interactive activities, including engaging lucky draw events, significantly enhanced the overall experience, attracting substantial crowds and creating a lively atmosphere.
