The 2026 King Pro League (KPL) Summer Season commenced on June 17 and Nantong Hero Jiujing will host Shanghai EDG.M at the Haimen E-sports Center on June 26. 

Haimen E-Sports Center has a total construction area of 65,000 square meters, and its main venue can accommodate 1,200 spectators. The venue is equipped with professional broadcast equipment, an immersive sound system, and other top-tier facilities, fully meeting the standards for hosting premier e-sports events in terms of both venue layout and technical support.

Since its opening in June 2025, the arena has hosted several major events, including the KPL Spring Qualifiers and the E-sports Cultural and Tourism Carnival. It has achieved impressive milestones, including breaking the one-million-viewer mark for a single match and exceeding 250 million total viewers across a series of events. 

Beyond the venue itself, the supporting ecosystem is also being upgraded. At present, KFC, the new base of Haimen Codion Club, and the Yunqi Xingjing International Cultural Tourism Base are all operational, offering diverse consumption and leisure spaces for younger audiences. 

In addition, projects such as the Jiangong Lake Film and Television Base, the InterContinental Flower Expo Park, and the Land Cruise are steadily advancing, promoting the deep integration of the e-sports industry with film and television, sports, and cultural tourism, and creating a dynamic trend-setting landmark popular among the younger generation.
