Intl cultural exchange event kicks off in Nantong

An international cultural exchange event was launched at Nantong Vocational College of Science and Technology in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Nov 3.
The 10-day event brought together over 20 teachers and students from the University Malaysia Sabah in Malaysia. They will participate in traditional Chinese arts such as calligraphy and Peking Opera, experiencing the allure of China's intangible cultural heritage firsthand. Furthermore, they will undertake field visits to observe the dynamic development of contemporary China.
On the opening day, the China-Malaysia Youth Education and Cultural Exchange Center and the China-Malaysia Youth Exchange and Cooperation Monument were unveiled, signifying a new chapter in youth exchange and cooperation between the two regions.

Participants also embarked on an immersive exploration of Chinese traditional culture and local Nantong specialties, highlighted by performances from international students at Nantong Vocational College of Science and Technology.
In recent years, Nantong Vocational College of Science and Technology has made significant progress in international student training, overseas cooperation expansion, and industry-academia partnership programs.
Moving forward, the college aims to broaden its international cooperation, optimize its international talent training system, and cultivate more exceptional graduates who possess a strong grasp of Chinese culture alongside international competitiveness.
