Nantong-produced film wins intl festival award

The film We Are Together co-produced by Nantong Media Group and Hainan Tibetan autonomous prefecture media convergence center recently won the Special Jury Award at the 18th Pyongyang International Film Festival.
This award is a key prize in the main competition, selected independently by the jury and awarded to one film at each festival.
The film tells the story of a young doctor who travels from Nantong to Qinghai-Xizang Plateau to deliver hope to the local residents, reflecting the strong bond and mutual support between officials and the community in both regions.
Before that, the film has been successfully listed in the 21st Chinese American Film Festival and the 4th Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival.
Since 1987, the Pyongyang International Film Festival has served as a significant international cultural exchange platform, connecting multicultural arts and the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
At this festival, several Chinese films received awards. Red Silk, a co-production between China and Russia, won the Best Feature Film award, Story of Cotton Field took home the Best Cinematography award, The Wandering EarthⅡ won the Best Technology award.
