Nantong Jianzhen high-end equipment components manufacturing project commenced construction in Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone on Oct 8. The project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan ($420.82 million), with the first phase involving a 1.5 billion yuan investment and spanning 200 mu (13.33 hectares). 

The investor, Changchun Jianzhen Precision Machinery Manufacturing Co, is a national-level specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprise specializing in the semiconductor equipment industry. 

In recent years, Haimen has focused on developing its integrated circuit industry as a key sector. The region has attracted high-caliber projects, enterprises, and talent pools such as Nanya New Material Co, resulting in an annual average growth rate of over 20 percent in industrial output value.
