As the hometown of Zhang Jian and a nationally renowned home textile industry base, Haimen boasts a rich historical heritage and solid industrial foundation. Nowadays, it is also embracing emerging cultural trends like e-sports. 

The 2025 Nantong Haimen E-sports and Cultural Tourism Carnival is set to open at the Haimen E-sports Center from Sept 19 to 21. Combining e-sports competitions, diverse entertainment experience, and cultural events, the event aims to deeply integrate Haimen's traditional culture with modern trends. 

The competitions include the spring qualifiers of King Pro League (KPL) and match by celebrities, providing audiences with an immersive experience. KPL is the highest-tier professional e-sports tournament for Honor of Kings, China's most popular mobile game operated by Tencent. 

In the future, Haimen plans to further integrate the e-sports industry with the cultural tourism industry, creating more meaningful events with Haimen's unique characteristics.
