University graduates visit Chongchuan for job opportunities
Over 450 graduates from universities, including Nanjing University, Southeast University and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, gathered on Nov 5-6 in Chongchuan district of Nantong city, East China's Jiangsu province.
They were invited to get involved in a series of activities aimed at exploring the district's distinctive industries, culture and arts and ecological landscapes.
The event also featured a specialized job fair, called the Chongchuan Journey for 10,000 Students.
On the morning of Nov 6, a total of 47 Chongchuan companies, including Tongfu Microelectronics and Jiangsu Hirain Automotive Electronics, offered over 600 job positions at the job fair.
Zhang Mingxing, head of the organization department of the CPC Chongchuan district committee, delivered a speech at the event. He highlighted Chongchuan's proactive response to recruitment and innovation-driven development strategies in recent years.
The district had adopted a more open approach, favorable policies and attentive services to attract a diverse range of high-quality talent, he said. Zhang welcomed young talent to the region to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities.
