The Haimen base of Shanghai Haojing Glass Products Co in Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province recently achieved certification from the Guinness World Records for producing the largest glass pane to be used on a building facade.

Measuring 3.3 meters by 20 meters, this coated tempered laminated glass was successfully installed on the company's comprehensive office building last year, before being submitted for consideration by Guinness World Records.

The Guinness certification authority conducted on-site measurements of the visible area of the glass, confirming the single glass pane's visible area to be 62.42 square meters.

The deep processing procedures, including coating, cutting, edging, drilling, tempering, curved tempering, homogenization, and laminating, were all independently completed by the R&D and manufacturing team of Haojing Group.

A single piece of the glass weighs 5.3 metric tons, and its successful installation not only showcases the strength of China's construction industry but also provides valuable insights for the global construction sector. The product has been extensively utilized in various building projects.
