Chongchuan encourages urban industrial complexes to overcome land resource constraints
Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province has been actively encouraging industrial enterprises to develop within integrated complexes, aiming to address land resource limitations.
Since 2020, Chongchuan has completed the construction of four urban industrial complexes, more than any other district in the city. The planned construction area totals 1 million square meters. Of this, approximately 510,000 square meters has been completed and registered, with around 450,000 square meters already leased or sold.
The district's first industrial complex, Huahui Industrial Park, was built in March 2019 in response to Nantong’s guidelines to encourage the construction of urban industrial complexes in the city.
Huahui Industrial Park has established a professional team of 30 staff members to attract investment and set up an industry guidance fund. Through equity investment, the park has attracted 74 high-quality enterprises, achieving 3.4 billion yuan ($470.68 million) in total output last year.
