Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has been actively promoting local agricultural development, leading to the emergence of several leading agricultural product enterprises.

One of them is Goldland Group, which has established strategic partnerships with major entities in the agricultural field, including COFCO, Sinograin, and edible oil brands such as Mighty and Luhua, with these collaborations accounting for 70 percent of its business.

In addition to these partnerships, the company's proprietary brand, Jiahui Oil, has been steadily gaining recognition and expanding its market coverage. It has consistently ranked among the top 50 edible oil processing enterprises and top 10 rapeseed oil processing enterprises in China for the past several years.

"By both processing for others and our own 'Jiahui' brand, we produce 200,000 metric tons of edible oil annually," said Li Rui, the group's deputy general manager.

In May of this year, Jiahui was listed among the national key leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, becoming the fourth such enterprise in Hai'an.

At present, Jinzhou Group has shifted from a single, traditional edible oil processing company to an industrial cluster, leading to the preliminary formation of a complete grain and oil food industrial chain.

The emergence of outstanding agricultural enterprises like Goldland has also propelled the comprehensive vitalization of rural areas in Hai'an. At the end of August, Hai'an was the only county in Nantong to make the 2023 list of National Rural Vitalization Demonstration Counties.
