The China Academy of Social Sciences recently unveiled the "2023 Top 100 List of Provincial Development Zones for High-Quality Development," and Hai'an High-tech Industrial Development Zone ranks 29th on the list.

The Hai'an High-tech Industrial Development Zone boasts a robust industrial landscape, comprising over 2,500 industrial enterprises.

Among them, 397 are enterprises of scale, 161 are high-tech enterprises, with five holding the title of national champions in manufacturing and one recognized as a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise.

The development zone has cultivated a distinctive industrial cluster, primarily focused on six high-tech industries and strategic emerging industries, including fashion nylon, automobiles and components, intelligent equipment, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new energy.

The development zone encompasses a 5-square-kilometer Science and Innovation City. It features national-level science and technology enterprise incubators, an international science and technology cooperation base, a provincial-level science and technology enterprise accelerator, a provincial university student entrepreneurship park, and a provincial mass innovation community.
