Tangyuan Vineyard, a farm in Yongpingzha community, Changjiang town, Rugao, has introduced a new high-quality grape variety called Langman Hongyan. The grapes recently hit the market.

As a modern ecological farm, Tangyuan Vineyard adopts a scientific planting system to ensure that grapes are large in size and high in sugar.

The vineyard covers an area of 20 mu (1.33 hectares) and has many varieties, such as Qingwang and Xiahei. The vineyard's output is around 50,000 yuan ($6,848) to 80,000 yuan per mu. It has become one of the best areas for high-quality grape growing in Changjiang town.

Tangyuan Vineyard's Qingwang grapes have a market price of 48 yuan per kilogram, while Langman Hongyan grapes have a market price of 80 yuan per kg.

"Even at such a high price, the grapes in the vineyard are in short supply. Many customers have already booked in advance," said Tang Weibing, the person in charge of Tangyuan Vineyard.
