Rugao, Jiangsu province, is hosting the STC Super Truck Carnival on Oct 17-18, bringing together truck drivers and enthusiasts from across China for two days of spectacular vehicles, stunt performances and truck-themed entertainment.

As a city with an established heavy-truck industry presence, including Scania's manufacturing operations, Rugao provided a fitting setting for the event. Now in its fourth edition, the carnival has grown into a major gathering for China's truck community.

One of the main attractions will be the lineup of heavy-duty trucks, featuring eye-catching paintwork, customized designs and flagship models. A convoy of trucks also rolled through the city streets, while live demonstrations put the vehicles through their paces with drifting, precision maneuvers and dynamic stunts.

Visitors will also be able to explore a dedicated interactive zone featuring scale models of heavy trucks, miniature construction machinery and a remote-controlled truck drifting track.

After dark, the carnival will shift to a more a festival atmosphere, with illuminated truck displays, electronic music and live band performances.

Interactive games, AI-powered photo experiences and talent shows by truck owners will add to the entertainment, while food trucks, local snacks and truck-themed merchandise will give visitors plenty to explore between performances.
