The 2023 CBA Summer League (Qidong) and the Yangtze River Delta Professional Basketball Club Challenge will be held from Aug 2 to 4 at the gymnasium of Qidong Middle School.

As a precursor event of the CBA regular season, the CBA Summer League is intended as preparation for the regular season.

The Qidong stop of the 2023 CBA Summer League has finally confirmed four participating teams: Jiangsu, Guangsha, Zhejiang, and Ningbo.

Among them, Jiangsu Longken Diya Basketball Club, the host, was established in 1995 and joined the CBA league in its inaugural year as a veteran team. The team first broke into the CBA top four in the 03-04 season and reached the finals against CBA powerhouse Guangdong in the following season.

The Zhejiang Guangsha Lions Club was established in April 2005 and officially entered the CBA league in 2006. It has made the playoffs for the past three years in a row, ushering in a golden age for basketball in Zhejiang.

Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank Jinniu Club is one of China's oldest professional basketball clubs with several athletes selected for the CBA all-star lineup.

The Ningbo Fubon Basketball Club, as the successor team of CBA veteran team Bayi, has formed a tactical style that focuses on defense, speed, accuracy, and inside-outside combination.

This year's Qidong stop of the 2023 CBA Summer League will feature a total of six games in the afternoon and evening. According to the schedule, the competition will last for three days and use a round-robin system with rankings determined by points.
