South Park Bridge
The South Park bridge is located along Haohe River in Chongchuan distric, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.

To connect the previous South Park and Central Park, Zhang Jian (1853-1926), a renowned industrial magnate in Nantong and founder of the Dasheng Cotton Mills, started building the bridge in 1915.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, South Park was converted into a guest house. The bridge was renovated and rebuilt many times over the years.
In 2004, the old bridge was widened and rebuilt because it could not bear the ever-expanding traffic flow.

Today, South Park Bridge is an important traffic artery and a famous scenic spot along Haohe River.
