The Nantong Museum in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, curated an exhibition on Nov 12 to showcase the development of museums in the city over the past decade.

The exhibition displays 154 photographs taken by professional photographers relating to the collections of the city's museums, itinerant exhibitions, and more.

"The exhibition displays the 31 museums in Nantong," said Peng Chunmeng, secretary-general of the Nantong Museum Union. "A bird's eye view of the outdoor exhibition reveals a "2012-2022" pattern, and the last part of the exhibition is a map showing the location of all museums in the city."

Peng noted that she hopes this exhibition will inspire more people to visit museums.

The exhibition, which will run until the end of this year, comes after the Nantong Museum Union's participation in the Chinese Museums and Relevant Products and Technologies Exposition, which was held in Zhengzhou, Henan province, in September.

At the expo, the union displayed the development of museums in Nantong over the past 120 years, as well as more than 20 publications by Nantong museums.
