One of his works depicting a little hamster illuminated by a lamp recently went viral online.

He originally just painted a hamster on a wall, and one month later when he passed by the wall, he noticed that someone had installed a lamp for the hamster, said Ge, who has been learning to paint for a while.
"About half a year ago, I came up with the idea of painting some cute images to create some small surprises for other people," said Ge.

In April, he started carrying paint and brushes to add some color to the city.
On the edge of a road he painted a small pond where a crocodile is taking a bath while sipping wine and a yellow duck is swimming. In a tree hole, he painted a grocery store with a variety of goods. At a small hole in the road, he painted a mouse fishing while dozing off with a fishing rope extending to the hole.

Over the past six months, Ge has painted about 60 such paintings, with each taking him about half an hour. "I design my work according to the shape and location of the 'canvas' so that my creations merge into the background and have a unique charm," noted Ge.
The painter will continue his corner paintings with the goal of creating 1,001 such paintings in Haimen.
