The administrative committee of Jiangsu Rudong Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone – located in Rudong county in Nantong city, East China's Jiangsu province – held an online meeting with Suzhou Nanomicro Technology Co Ltd on Feb 7.

The two discussed their cooperation and signed a cooperative agreement during the meeting. According to the agreement, Nanomicro Technology will build a pilot scale experiment industrial park of nanomaterial at the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone.

Nanomicro Technology is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, and production of high-precision, high-performance, and high value-added microsphere materials. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Science and Technology Innovation Board last year.

Even during the Spring Festival holiday, the development zone didn't stop attracting investments. Besides the Nanomicro Technology project, the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone also signed cooperation agreements with Dover and Far East Holding Group.

According to officials of the development zone, the zone has set up the goal to sign one project with investment of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.57 billion), one project of 5 to 10 billion yuan, eight projects of 1 to 5 billion yuan each, and five projects of 500 million to 1 billion yuan each during this year.
