6th Qichuang Cup entrepreneurship competition concludes

The final of the sixth Qichuang Cup Entrepreneurship Competition was held at DoubleTree by Hilton Qidong on Sept 19 in Qidong, a county-level city administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province.
The competition is meant to support innovation-driven development and increase talent in the city and has been held six times.
This year, the event was held with the goal of stimulating innovation among various entities, boosting the growth of new technologies and industries and attracting more superior talent for the high-quality economic and social development of the city.
Launched in February, the competition attracted the participation of over 1,000 domestic and overseas projects. After seven matches in different industries held in various cities, a total of 67 projects entered the final, involving electronic information, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy, life science and technology, energy conservation, and environment protection.
The participants demonstrated their entrepreneurial projects through roadshows. After fierce competition, three projects on advanced instruments and techniques for cryopreservation, laser lighting materials and devices, and R&D and industrialization of ceramic thick film pressure sensor cores won first place.
