According to the local firefighting rescue detachment, the first firefighting theme park in Hai'an, a county-level city of Nantong, has been opened to the public. In addition to available fitness and recreation facilities, people can also learn about fire-prevention and self-rescue, local media reported on Dec 3.
The 850-square-meter park is located in the law culture theme square which sits at the east of the Hai'an government venue. Based on the original features, multiple functional areas were set up to popularize firefighting laws and regulations, and expand knowledge of fire prevention, self-rescue, firefighting logos and use of firefighting equipment.
The park is divided into an education area, an entertainment area for children, and a knowledge learning area, and is equipped with firefighting theme publicity boards and dolls. Specially designed dustbins in the shape of a fireman are distributed throughout the park.
