According to the Hai'an emergency management bureau, the information supervision platform for industry and trade enterprises' production safety has been used by 2,616 production enterprises since being made available in April, which is full coverage of industry and trade enterprises having seven people and above, local media reported.

Through big data and mobile services are provided by the APP, safe production in industry and trade can be supervised online.

Which industry the enterprise belongs to, where the key risk points lie, what hidden danger exists, how the rectification progress is carried out – with the platform, these questions are easy to answer.

As Wang Jianqun, deputy head of the emergency management bureau, explained, the risk control platform in Hai'an sets up multiple modules including information, supervision and data centers for statistics, analysis, tracing and data reporting. By linking with towns and companies, it realizes interconnection of all kinds of information.

"Industry and trade enterprises involve many industries such as machinery and textiles, and cover the key fields of liquid ammonia refrigeration and dust explosions, with quite different hidden dangers," Wang said. "Big data information collection and scientific analysis can screen key risk information, and provide better guidance in daily supervision."

According to the industry to which the enterprise belongs the system will automatically send the relevant safety laws and regulations, and supervise and guide the enterprise to improve its application of the rules and regulations on safe production and to take precautions in accordance with the law.
