The Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nantong University was unveiled in Chongchuan district on Aug 8. The former Nantong Stomatological Hospital was officially upgraded as an affiliated hospital of Nantong University.

As a key public hospital constructed by Chongchuan district, Nantong Stomatological Hospital was named a 3A-grade hospital in June 2020. Integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and healthcare, it is one of only five 3A-grade stomatological hospitals in Jiangsu province.

Nantong University is one of the first universities in China to offer higher medical education and cultivates thousands of medical and health talents, enjoying a high reputation in the domestic medical field.

Nantong Stomatological Hospital and Nantong University have good and long-term cooperation in technology, personnel exchanges and resource sharing. The hospital has undertaken the clinical internship teaching work for Nantong University's first stomatology students since 2005.

In 2011, it became the teaching hospital of Nantong University and began to undertake the undergraduate teaching work of stomatology majors, contributing to the cultivation of stomatology talents.
