China's first new retail community fresh supermarket RT-mini opened in Chongchuan district, Nantong, on July 15, attracting a large number of customers.

The opening of the RT-mini marks the official start of the headquarters project between Wenfeng sub-district and RT-Mart. Wenfeng sub-district spent less than five months on the project from contact, signing the contract to landing.

Though affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, officials from Wenfeng visited Shanghai Hexiaoma Network Technology Co Ltd to discuss cooperation on March 12. The sub-district communicated with Hexiaoma in terms of regional advantages, industrial characteristics and high-quality services.

To ensure the progress of the project, Wenfeng took the initiative to contact Hexiaoma again on March 14. The sub-district officials had face-to-face negotiations with the head of Hexiaoma, and learned about the company's investment intentions and development direction.

In addition, Wenfeng officials also learned about the difficulties and appeal of the investor and established an instant communication mechanism. As to those difficulties which could be solved immediately, the sub-district studied the solutions at once; for those that needed relevant departments to coordinate solutions, the sub-district played an important role in connecting them.

On March 19, Wenfeng's delegation returned to the headquarters of RT-Mart in Shanghai to sign the contract for the first RT-mini community fresh supermarket.

After that, the sub-district provided multiple services for the project, closely tracked its progress and helped solve problems such as disturbing residents, sewage spills and building water seepage.
