According to Hai'an's culture, radio, film and tourism administration, the city has 15 projects listed as Nantong key cultural industry projects in 2020, ranking first among the districts, counties and cities in Nantong, with investment totaling 1.7 billion yuan ($243 million), local media reported.

Hai'an has constantly increased its efforts in attracting and constructing cultural and tourism industry projects in recent years. In the first half of 2020, the city optimized related regulations and rules, and promoted the layered development of key projects in the cultural and tourism industry.

Established in 2009, the 523 cultural industrial park is a characteristic cultural block integrating culture, tourism and research and development of related products, manufacturing, promotion and sales. It is the only national cultural industry demonstration base and a vital cultural industry cluster area.

The second phase of the construction of the cultural industrial park took only one year to introduce 20 high-quality projects such as Suyu art gallery and art tour town.

At present, the key project, Lebainian Health Town, is preparing for recognition as a national 4A-level scenic spot. The Yuguo RV (recreational vehicle) camp is basically completed and will open to the public as soon as the formalities are gone through. The cultural and tourism industry projects are being promoted in an orderly fashion.
